Revalidation of the Crowd Control Licence

A crowd controller’s job involves keeping the peace among large crowds. They must be trained in various techniques for keeping crowds under control. The training course must meet the requirements set out by the Business and Professions Code, California. The course must also include at least four hours of elective training.

The purpose of the Crowd Control Licence is to control anti-social behaviour and to minimize crime and alcohol related harm. The licensee must employ licensed crowd controllers at licensed premises. They must also have a Responsible Service of Alcohol course. However, the licensee is responsible for the management and storage of the recordings and images.

The training course consists of hands-on exercises and training. It also includes courses in fire safety and emergency response. Moreover, training will prepare you to teach crowd members how to stay safe. The course includes 10 questions with an answer key. If you’re interested in applying for a crowd-control officer role, you should know that you’ll be putting your body at risk, so it’s important to make sure you’re physically fit.

In addition to being intelligent, crowd controllers need to have a good understanding of crowds’ moods. You’ll need to be able to control your emotions and stay calm in case of an angry crowd. Moreover, you must be physically fit since you’ll be on your feet for many hours each day.
