Dammit IntelliJ

When using IntelliJ 2020.2, which is an awesome all-in-one editor when programming in Java, there is one annoying bug to consider — losing the cursor and not being able to type anything into the editor.

Hopefully this won’t be a bug in IntelliJ Idea’s next update, but for now, if the user presses the Shift key twice, the nifty ‘Search Everywhere’ tool appears (ensure that the Caps Lock is off). If the user then presses the Esc key or clicks into the editor window — viola! — the cursor reappears and the user is now able to type characters as normal.

Now you can go back to enjoying this awesome editor.
