Out of Love.

cw // kissing

Resha drives his car with tears streaming down on his cheeks. He didn’t think that it would be this painful, either his head or his heart.

Luckily, there aren’t many cars passing by the road tonight, so he could get to Haga’s place sooner, considering that he’s having a pain in his head.

Once he’s arrived, he’s immediately go to the 4th floor where Haga’s unit is located. He took a deep breath before knocking the door.

Now the door is opened, Resha currently standing in front of Haga who just became his ex few hours ago.

Resha and Haga have been dating for 4 years now. However, just few hours ago he confessed to Resha that he’s running out of love with him. Resha was happy but broken at the same time. He’s happy because Haga was being honest rather than forcing himself for being in the relationship. But It also broke Resha into pieces knowing that Haga no longer loves him while Resha still have the same feelings just like 4 years ago.

“Resha? Are you okay?” Haga called his name few times but there were no answers.

“Yeah, i’m fine.”

“Masuk dulu, jangan berdiri di pintu.”

Haga greeted him with his warm smile that Resha loves the most, and Resha smiled back at him before entering Haga’s apartment.

As Resha walked in, Haga closed the door and leads Resha to his room. It used to be Resha’s comfort place as well.

Haga is currently preparing two cups of tea with some snacks for both of them, and suddenly he asked Resha softly,

“Kenapa tiba-tiba mau nginep?”

Resha smiled once again, “nggak papa, pengen aja.”

Haga nodded after heard Resha’s answer. He puts the snacks and tea on the table beside his bed, and starts to laying in bed with Resha besides him.

An hour has passed without any conversation, Resha only looked at the ceiling while Haga laying besides him with his phone.

“Haga.”

“Hm?”

As he heard Haga was answering his question, Resha starts to feel emotional. Tears starts to falling down from his eyes.

“Thank you for letting me stay at your place tonight. I just wanted to see you.. maybe for the last time.”

Haga got chuckled. Seeing him chuckled makes Resha laugh as well.

“Last time gimana? Kita satu kampus, Resha. Satu tempat magang juga.”

“Nggak tahu, tapi rasanya pengen aja ngomong gitu.”

Haga nodded, “it’s fine, i get what you mean.”

“Haga.”

“I’m here.”

“Can i…”

“Can i?”

Resha closed his eyes because the tension in their room feels awkward. But Resha really wants to do it.

“God, it’s a bit embarrassing, but, can i.. kiss you.. for the last time?” Resha starts to getting nervous, so he bite his lower lips. Afraid that Haga will refuse his last wish.

“Sure.” Resha startled a little because he didn’t expect that Haga would let Resha kiss him.

Haga sat up from his current position and looking straight into Resha’s eyes, “do you want me to start it first?” but Resha didn’t give him an answer. So he put both of his hands on Resha’s cheeks and starts to connect his lips with the younger lips. Haga kissed Resha softly, really soft until tears starts to streaming down to Resha’s cheeks.

Resha’s crying because he knows Haga didn’t know that maybe tomorrow morning he’ll be no longer in this world. Resha feel his hearts aching because of the current situation.

“Hey, don’t cry, please.” Haga pulled away and wiping the younger’s tears.

“I’m gonna miss you, Haga. Aku sayang kamu banget. Please, take care of yourself, ya.” Haga nodded softly even though he’s confused why the hell Resha says something like that.

Both of them now are laying in bed facing each other. But Haga already fell asleep, while Resha still watching the older’s face until he feel a terrible headache and decided to go to sleep.

Unfortunately, it’s not just a regular sleep. Resha was already out of breath long before Haga woke up.
