Chicago Neighborhood Initiative Sets Up Fund to Support Damaged South Side Businesses

Nonprofit group Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives (CNI) has set up the Small Business Repair Program to provide financial support for the repair of small business facilities damaged by looting in Chicago’s South Side. CNI President David Doig said they want it to be a $100,000 relief fund and they had already raised $50,000. They are working with activist Ja’Mal Green for the fundraising.
